I was deeply moved today after listening to Oliver Demille’s talk on Freedom Matters. It makes me stop and stare at the ground and wonder what am I willing to do, life will not be the same in the future. I can’t just ignore the thought of some future time, looking into my childrens eyes and saying, yes it happened on my watch. Tough times make tough men. Oliver so clearly lays out a road map of what to do, he says to read these five books, there are six but I can’t remember the one. Here are some he mentioned.

He talks about the coming world shift which we are already in the beginng, he says it will only determine whether we have enough people who have prepared themselves for it. He refers to three skill sets that need to become a habit of those that will be a part of the shift. And we need 1.5 to 2.5 percent of the population to swing the shift. Here are the three skills one must master to play an active part in getting our country into what he calls a freedom shift. It’s really interesting to study how roughly every century every nation in history went through this shift and then you look at how the generations start out strong and then go through a cycle and end up in complacency it becomes very clear why we have a shift every century or so, the last around 1913 being a force shift. We need a freedom shift but are running behind in percentage up until now. Dig in and do the research and master these three skills.
1. Be an entrepreneur
2. Be a veracious reader and independent thinker
3. Built a tribe
It is time to stop talking so much about what kind of leaders we want, to give less lip service to what Washington or Wall Street or Hollywood should do, and to act a lot more like citizens who actually deserve freedom.— Oliver DeMille
